Yin/Yang

Yin and Yang can't be apart
There is no Yin without Yang
There is no Yang without Yin

Yin and Yang are interdependent on each other
Two puzzle pieces that form a whole
One can't work without the other
Both form an intertwined soul

Yin and Yang can't be rushed
The day flows into the night
The night flows into the day

If you want one you need both
You can't just take one because it destroys the other
Taking the other doesn't allow growth
You can't just choose it another

The Yin and Yang chooses itself
No one has the right to decide otherwise

  1. I like the rhythm that your poem has and how at some points some of your words rhyme. I also like how you convey to the reader the connection between Yin and Yang and how you develop this idea throughout your poem.

  3. I really liked hoe you compared Yin and Yang to puzzle pieces that you need to make the whole, it really enforces the point that you need both to live by the Tao.
