The Good and The Bad
There is no shadow without light
no day without night
no sweet without sour
or even life without death.
Representing darkness and light
negativity or positivity
the complementary forces combine.
One compliments the other
a negative and a positive
One needs the other to be complete.
Forces of energy gradually change
yin to yang and yang to yin
the balance of life.
A constant chase
seeking a new balance between the two
The Good and The Bad.

I love how the poem is not complicated and hard to understand. I also really like the image that follows the poem.

ReplyDeleteI loved your poem and how it included subtle examples of Yin and Yang :)
ReplyDeleteI like how you show lots of meaningful contrast, and end up tying it in with the yin and yang.
ReplyDeleteThis poem embodies the idea of yin and yang really well, one of the main concepts of Taoism.
