The Four Powers

The man is great
He seeks only knowledge and power
Trying to be as worthy as the Earth,
The man listens and flows his fate

The Earth is great
Like a grain of sand on the beach,
The single planet seeks belonging in the universe
The Earth is ever changing find to find its place

The universe is great
It holds all life in its hands
Grander than anyone but the Tao imagine
The universe is space and time

The Tao is great
Balancing the good and the bad of life
It flows through all creations

The Tao is everything

  1. I like how you expanded on the idea of the 4 great powers and implied their connectedness without implicitly saying it :)

  2. I like the imagery of grains of sand. The poem flows well and the concept of the Four Powers is interesting. Great job!

  3. I love how you made the Four Powers such a large message, but never implicitly saying it. I also like how you explained each Power clearly and powerfully. Amazing!

  4. I also really like the way you expanded on one of the passages. In this way, it is easier to understand what s going on, and why exactly everything is so great. The picture also rounds everything out, and includes everything talked about in the poem, even though you can't see "man" or "earth".
