Reaching Yourself
Let the good guide you,
and the bad develop you.
Let life flow naturally,
so that you can experience the bad,
and appreciate the good.
Let yourself accept,
that you are bound to yin and yang.
Let your true being surface,
as you break away from useless thoughts.
Let yourself wander away from worries of the future,
and focus on whatever is thrown your way.
Let yourself fall into the ways of the Tao.
Great use of repetition, gives a good rhythm to the piece. The message of having balance in one's life is too the point yet powerful.

ReplyDeleteThe poem is very well written, but I also really like the way you formatted it all. For example, the way you italicized the word "let" and just the general shape of the poem itself.
