Eternal Tao

The Tao is infinite, beyond comprehension.
The Tao is eternal while language is limited.
To express the Tao is to limit what cannot be limited.
To express the Tao is to contain the roaring waterfall.
It is impossible
because the Tao is constantly changing, constantly expanding.

The Tao comes before all things.
Only with the Tao can all things come.
The Tao defines the universe and all life.
The tree can never revert to a seed,
because the seed came before.
Words and names can never capture the Tao,
because the Tao came before.

Life is within the Tao.
There is the yin and there is yang.
There is happiness, and there is sadness.
There is life and there is death.
Life is the conflict and the harmony between all things,
a flickering representation of the Tao.

The Tao represents balance, an equilibrium of all things.
The Tao represents what is before, above, beyond life.
The Tao is the infinite that can never be captured by the finite of life.
Life is the reflection of the Tao.

The Tao simply is.

Existence

The Tao is
and was
and always has been.

It is the way, the reason things are as they are,
the path, the absolute

It is above existence
It does nothing, yet through it all things are done
You cannot find it, yet it is always there
Following only itself
It is what it is

Through the Tao
You know the yin and the yang
You give up everything
to be given everything
Letting go of fixed plans and concepts
Your heart is at peace.

Like The Wind And Water

The water ripples and splashes,
making way for new shapes and forms.
Allowing strange objects to enter,
and accepting them as they are.

The wind whirls and flows,
moving past difficulties easily and steadily.
Allowing adversities near,
and accepting them as they are.
A person must be
like the wind and water.
One does not power through stress
But accepts it through versatility

One does not complain,
or grow angry,
but instead
cools and focuses their mind.

To be like the wind and water,
the way is not always easy.
A relaxed body will allow
a calm mind and soul.

Yield

Yield
The willow bends.
And when the wind blows
it yields and lives.

The oak stands stiff,
And when hit by the wind,
its branches crack and come falling down.

That which stands straight and tall,
will tumble from its former glory.
Winning can be losing.

What can yield and bend
can survive all that is it faces.
Thus, to lose is to win.

Reaching Yourself

Reaching Yourself
Let the good guide you,
and the bad develop you.
Let life flow naturally,
so that you can experience the bad,
and appreciate the good.
Let yourself accept,
that you are bound to yin and yang.
Let your true being surface,
as you break away from useless thoughts.
Let yourself wander away from worries of the future,
and focus on whatever is thrown your way.
Let yourself fall into the ways of the Tao.

The Energy

Aspire to succeed
and you will fail
Aspire to be a mystery
and you will be revealed
Aspire to be eternal
and you will die

The Tao is the energy
it controls our being
our actuality

When we give without receiving
live without possessing
be one with the universe
and go with the energy

The energy will return to us
The vibes will harmonize
and the Tao will return

Tao Haikus

Be like the river
Adventure through life’s path
Be ready for death

Be like a flower
Observe beauty around you
The green world beckons

Be small like the mouse
For large lions can be trapped
Within their own strength

Tao Poem

Adapt and change
like the wind, like the sprawling sea.
Adapt and change
like the eternal sky, turning rust and rose and blue and periwinkle
until night.
It is but the morning;
he who is stagnant
is forgotten.
Turning rust and rose and blue and periwinkle,
we must adapt

and change.

Tao and Man

I am Tao
The beginning and ending
Of the universe

I am the balance of light
And dark
I am the flow of good
And evil
I am the stability of yin
And yang

You are Man
You will see the age of
Only yourself.

You shall let the world be
And run its course
You shall follow the teachings
And learn the Way
You shall connect with nature
And find harmony
